Haut-Brion's 1997 is an unqualified success, and among the finest of the first-growths. The color is an opaque ruby/purple. The evolved nose offers up aromas of tar, tobacco, and sweet, jammy plum and black currant fruit. Medium-bodied, with exceptional harmony, low acidity, and sweet tannin, it boasts a surprisingly long, seductive, pure finish. As the wine sat in the glass, more chocolate, tobacco, and black fruits emerged. It is hard to compare this Haut-Brion with other vintages. Obviously it is not as powerful, packed, and stacked as the 1995 or 1996, yet the 1997 is a silky-textured, luscious Haut-Brion that will drink well when released, and last for two decades.

A severe selection was employed for the grand vin at Haut-Brion, with only 45% of the production making it into the final blend. Only 35% of the remaining production went into the second wine, Bahans-Haut-Brion.

À chaque fois qu'il a été redégusté, il a perdu un point !!! À continuer d'évoluer comme cela,... il doit être rendu à 76-77 !!!

Tu pourras voir comment les 1er se débrouillent dans des année plus petite

Encore la tout dépend d'ou tu regarde ws lui donne 93 points:
1988 Chateau Cheval Blanc - Wine Spectator 93/100 - Berry, cherry and chocolate on the nose, with hints of spices. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a spicy, cedary, dark chocolate aftertaste. Very silky and caressing. Grabs your attention. Muscular for Cheval. Overlooked by many Cheval fans.

Blacksmith, ce n'est pas un secret que plus Parker note un vin bas, plus il a de chance d'être réellement bon pour nos palais français!

Et tu ne seras pas plus de la danse avec cette bouteille. Pas que ce n'est pas une belle bouteille, mais disons qu'il lui manque un peu d'âge et que l'accessibilité est assez grande pour tous.

À mon avis pour être choisi au Dreamer il faut présenter une bouteille qu'on ouvre pas tous les jours, pas accessible à tous, avec un peu d'âge dans le corps (différent pour chaque région) et avec une note qui se tient pour un Dreamer.

Il doit y avoir un effet de rareté évidemment... Les Bordeaux 1GCC même avec de l'âge sont rendus quasiment monnaie commune avec la panoplie d'encans ... Ceux des années exceptionnelles demeurent par contre très recherchés.
